Planning
Things to to
- Priest
- Anders was charming and harmonic.
- Talented Mucisian who could play what ever We wanted.
- Church
- Helgesta Church, Flens county
- Venue
- Rockelstad Castle, Really nice surroundings perfect for a wedding. www.rockelstad.se
- Service
- Last minute after a lot of stress about it *from the bride side* it worked out. The bride sister organised two girld from the restaurant school in Nyköpings to help.
- Photographer
- All guests had cameras and we asked to have a copy of them all, our bestman was by our side the whole day and took many nice and memorable photos.
- Entertainment
- CDs and MP3 worked great, we had arranged music in advance. There was a big stereo system to use, and alot of helping hands to DJ the music during the evening.
- Church Music
- Cello expert, close friend Stina, played the Lord of the ring song amazingly. Perfect memory to a favorite movie of ours.
- Invitation Card
- Simple homemade and match the theme colors, black white and Gold.
- Bride Bouquet
- White and Gold Yellow Chrysanthemum a round foam ball, gold thread and ivory pearls. Made by the bride, which saved money and made it extra meaningful. However it was late in the night when it was finished.
- Wedding Dress
- A fun trip to India, why not make a wedding dress at the same time, many funny and stress moments to get it. How ever the details were put on and made extra special in Syria by a close friend to the Grooms mother. Sure it was a plus that it did not cost millions.
- Groom Wear
- Rented from a shop in London, Black Jaquett jacket and grey trousers, gold vest and details to fit the them.
- Bridesmade & Bestmen wear
- Debbenham had very nice dresses, lucky that we lived in London. Gold color of course, but it was not really a must.
- Table Sitting
- Not easy, Not swedish traditional seating arrangement: with long tables. We decided we wanted small tables, would have preferred round tables but square one had to do. The most important thing for us was that our guest felt comfortable as they had to sit there a couple of hours. We had place cards, but no map to show, it worked out fine people found their seat-we were not that many.
- Hair & makeup
- Linda a really sweet girl came to the castle with all her gear she was there for a couple of hours and managed a few more hair maintenance then the bride and her maids.
- The Rings
- Titanium and silver ring, perfect sustainable in all weathers and challenges. The diamond can come later when the adventures calm down a little.
- Guest Accommodation
- For everyone who wants there is possibility for accommodation in the castle guest houses.
